Fantastically delicious food this evening. Nice cocktail list with some creative options for all liquors. The gazpacho is stellar! Super flavorful w chunks of tomato and loads of garlicky flavor in the medium thick creamy cold soup. The octopus is both beautiful and super delicious.

Remains one of my faves in the 216... we had the octopus, salmon and maiale ribs... all were excellent... festive scene makes this summer patio experience super fun and our regular bartender Jess guided us on great drinks and dishes and is an asset to the venue.

I saw the guy fieri episode and was in Cleveland so I wanted in to try. Meatballs were really good as promised! And the noodles were fresh because I know they make the pasta themselves. I did not enjoy the noodle shape though and felt like the sauce was a little too peppery but otherwise really good. Octopus was also really tender. Service was great, and the people working there were also!

Wow is all I have to say. Have been meaning to try this place for a while. Service was friendly and excellent. Both entrees were delicious. Best tasting scrambled eggs I've had. Highly recommend, will be coming back to try some other entrees.

Astoria is one of my favorite brunch spots! The staff has always been welcoming and accommodating. During this visit, I took a new friend who recently moved to Cleveland. Afterwards, he said that his entree was one of the best meals he's had in Cleveland. I ordered the Astoria Breakfast, my husband ordered the Basque Country Saganaki, and my friend ordered the Scallop and Prosciutto Eggs Benedict - all were great! Astoria is a casual spot and is recommended for a small group; be sure to make reservations because it can be busy at times.

I was just saying how much i wanted a meat and cheese board. @astoria.cle was a perfect choice. An amazing board , Hummus and Spicy Feta Dip. Finished with an flavorful Orange Cake. I can't believe it took me years to come here! There's a great Mediterranean market in the front half of the shop and then the restaurant is in the back half. They offer multiple vegan options and the cheese board was absolutely incredible. The staff is very knowledgeable and will guide you through the cheese pairings!

Astoria is a fun place for brunch that I've been told is a good place to meet your friends from the far side of town. I'd definitely recommend reservations. The dining area is on the small side and there was a pretty big line when we left. That being said, the staff were really friendly, service was great, and I've been dreaming of that fried chicken. We had the full brunch beverage array - water, coffee, and a fun drink. The menu isn't huge, but everything looked good, and there are some intriguing boards I'd like to sample. I had the chicken and biscuit, and the chicken was fantastic. I'm sure the biscuit was good, too, but I was pretty honed in on the chicken. The skin SNAPS when you bite it! So good! The food was well seasoned, and the staff were really nice about letting us take our time, even on a busy day.

I visited for the first time towards the end of January 2024 after viewing the new apartments across the street. They have a small market that is attached to the restaurant so you can shop for some Italian spices, sauces, snacks, wine, etc PIZZAS -- Their pizzas are probably one of the best that I've had in Cleveland. Soft and rich. Flavourful. I ordered the Pizza Margherita ($15 during happy hour time) which consists of herb-roasted tomatoes , fresh mozzarella cheese, and basil with a garlic sauce. This pizza is soooo flavourful and just perfect. No meat is even needed. Normally, I don't like to eat cheese neither do I really like sole cheeses or I hardly eat cheese but the mozzarella cheese in this pizza did not make my stomach hurt and it tasted fresh. Earlier this morning, I came across my photo of the margherita pizza and I'm craving to order it tonight - that's how delicious it is. I recently had a dry and hard pizza from a pizza restaurant in Lakewood but Astoria Cafe has one of the best pizzas in the city of Cleveland. I also tried their pepperoni and mushroom pizza and those were really. I also ordered the Chicken Avgolemono Soup ($7) as a starter before the pizzas arrived and this was a nice soup but it needed some more flavour besides salt. I'll definitely be back to Astoria Cafe to try other menu items and to buy the Biscotello cookies from their small market. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 10/150 total reviews in 2024 - 660 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on Friday, 15 March 2024

Pretty good but overpriced? Don't get me wrong the food is not bad. But honestly the salad was watery and while the ingredients are special and considered expensive, the overall price just has me thinking it was too expensive for the actual food itself. The food got cold too quickly. I understand I'm being picky but yeah if I'm paying over $100 for a two person brunch, I expect everything to taste perfect. The scallops were too salty, salad was watery, duck was quite chewy... I'm hoping to try again and update my review to experience dishes worth their prices! The servers and bartenders were attentive and nice.
